Lyme Regis


Lyme Regis lies at the meeting point of West Dorset &
East Devon. It’s a small town which has carefully protected its
geography and architecture to become a desirable, beautiful
seaside town with a lively arts scene and prolific food culture.

Famous for its Cobb & harbour (immortalised in The French Lieutenants Woman), Lyme Regis is at the heart of The Jurassic coast with 3 beaches and boasting the only sand in its 20 mile stretch. An ammonite is the towns badge and all things fossil
have been closely associated with the town for almost 200 years.

The town has a bustling high street with galleries, boutiques
& cafes aplenty; local food is exceptional at the Mark Hix
